I can't thank Randy enough for the call tuesday, saying he was going out that evening-wednesday.So, me and my fishing homie Ryan decided to due one last run on "BajaBound"and join randy on "Knot Home" on wednesday, since we'd have some good company;) and hopefully some luck, since we had 3 skunked trips in arow:blah:. Plus, I needed to go sharking and get rid of some chum:D!The ride across was alil bumpy, got alil wet. We rounded the corner at grey and Randy called us in and passed us some live squirters:rockon:Thanks bro couldn't have done it with out you. Went above and set up a drift on some good marks and could only get 2 rods down before we had a double going in less than 5 minutes. Ryans fish ran straight to the shallows, but he was able to stop and turn'em on the 40lb. My fish went for the shallows too, but unfortunately found some kelp, I couldn't budge em:mad:and gave up after 5+min.& just put the rod in the holder still bendo w/a fish on? A few min. later I stick ryans fish:D a nice 34+ lb toad yellow on the scale!!NICE I grab my rod and catch back up to my fish thats buried in kelp still, luckly. After 10 minutes of pumping & pulling in different directions. The fish finally:notworthy: came up in aball of kelp stringers and we had yellow #2 onboard Sweet. They looked like twins don't they? We re-set and 15 min later my 40lb rod starts bouncing,FISH ON.This fish went for along run, felt heavy and fought mean and didn't want to give up and die easly! After 20 minutes he was finally on deck:notworthy:it was huge, real gerthy and long. It didnt fit in the cooler and like randy said it was one of the best fighting yellows I've ever caught and a new pb for me too at 47.40Lb Awesome!! We stuck it out for afew more hours for nada and went sharking once the wind died. We drifted for 5 hrs off the arch(3-4miles straight S)in 62.5 degree water and chummed up 6 nice makos. The biggest probably pushing 225-250lbs. more shark pics and video to come! I have to resize some.

here's the link's to afew shark videos:marineslayer mako shark - YouTube
more to come mako #4 off Anacapa - YouTube
