A guy at a local lake showed me how to use poppers, Came home found a couple I bought at malwart for a $1.50. Next day went out to the same lake aka pond and tried them and caught 2 10 inch bass It was as much fun as the first time I caught a thresher at gaviota pier. With them jumping out of the water to get the popper Im freekin addicted to bass fishing its as fun as it looks

I punch shot like crazy ALLLLL summer. Especially in the Delta with the multiple layers of Matts. This is the first year I have really started punching seriously. I have nearly doubled my weight from the last tournament season.

It's a different kind of Mackerel from out California Mackerel. Those king mackerel get huge and taste pretty good
