Launched @730 am from Coyote, Worked my way around one side of the island ,Nada, Trolled with the Huddeston and an A.C Plug, No hits.Worked the west shore hooked up with the dink on a drop shot, 4 in OXblood robo w/ot tail, Fishing was tough, Then I drifted most of the West shore for a nicer sized Bass on the same rig, this one went about 4lbs? Caught both fish between 10-1pm, the wind picked up so I decided to go Home,

Also made my first buggin trip, last week went out with 2 hoops, @CIH,and got One,I ran out of bait really fast, few pulls, for 1.5 hours on the water, Now i know to go LOADED with bait LOL!:cool2:

Thanks for the nice report. I have been wondering about both locations. Do they charge extra for a kayak at Casitas? How long has C.I. been open to hooping?

    nice job on the fish...

casitas charges $8 I think for a kayak...so with admission and the kayak its $15...same price for bringing a boat up there.

water temps have been about 55 degrees...you can find pockets of water to 57

Per day for canoe, kayak or float tube $3.00

    Not to shabby :)

They didn't use to allow it, but since the Olympics I think things changed.

What about the Quassa mussel that the lake is so freaked out about. Don't you have to go through some kind of inspection?
