Dungeness Crab Season 2016 (Santa Cruz Ca.)

    Well they finally opened crab season since the crab have tested clean. And the fishing pressure is light with no commercial crabbing. We have been out twice and are getting great numbers of big crab - 20 in one pot Sat. and 30 in two pots after work tonight Tues. We have been removing all the guts before cooking (better safe than sorry) but have heard of no one getting sick. I have only been running 5 pots and yet to pull three of them.

    Very cool. I was just up in Oregon and my favorite crab place was out. Nice work.
