First halibut of the year

    Launched out of Davies in Alamitos Friday,got some nice baits , mackerels and big sardines. Drifted the harbor all day caught a 25" halibut around 2:15 on the outgoing tide. It got pretty windy after that so we left , only one. Didn't really try for anything else.
