I'm in for anything. As Joey knows I could care less about the $ but the fuel surcharge would be very different...

Like I said man, just a random thought that popped into my head... Forget I said anything, I'm sure they'll put us on the fish (wherever that may be)! I'll be slaying Pelagics all day tomorrow anyways :usaflag::beerbang:

We could always run to SBI and poke around for YT, leave earlier and troll on the way back. The water temps have been real nice around there. I bet some of those fish are between SBI and Anacapa by then...

I'm stoked about that!!! I'm starting to get pretty excited for the trip next week:rockon:

Seeing how this is going to be my first ride with the Mirage, can anyone give me some lead suggestions? I have a good assortment of egg-sinkers (1/8-2oz) I'm wondering about torpedo's.... I have a decent supply of 1,2,3,4,6,8oz. Is there any need to bring 10 & 12oz?

    Thanks,
    B

I would leave all the light torpedos at home. Bring a couple 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2oz sliders and then bring a few torpedo sinkers 6oz - 16oz.

Thanks Walkerman I'm covered with 15,20,25,30lb flouro... not my first WSB rodeo, just my first time on the Mirage and I know that each boat has their preferred depth. . I didnt want to show up with 30lbs of various torpedos.... Or WORSE, have to ghetto rig a bunch of 4,6,8oz torpedos together and watch them helicopter around :-/

Yes. Bring some 12's at least for rockfishing. I like 16's better to keep my line straight up and down but at least some 12's would be wise. And I am not a fan of heavy dropper loop fishing, but sometimes to be effective you have to do it...

Hey folks, I might have a problem this week fishing on board the Mirage. If anybody is interested in purchasing my spot, please PM me.
