Jet ski launch near Refugio SB

    Where can I launch some jet skis near Refugio State Beach.

    Not sure. It is legal to launch 500' from a public beach but you can't launch a power vessel from a public beach that isn't designated to do so. Just a heads up.

    They let motored inflatables launch at refgio state beach. Ive done it

    Thats perfect, I'll have to look into that. Where at on the beach? When I was there last month didn't really see a spot.

    Anywere you can park and get your ski to the water and the rangers are the best people to really ask

    It used to be an all sand beach. That big winter storm in 2013/14 that caused all of the damage up and down the coast removed all of the sand and replaced it with rocks. There is sand there at low tide but at high tide mostly rocks. Last summer there was a patch of sand below the houses. Will be camping there next week and I can check it out. Will be in the kayaks but I can ask the ranger and life guards.

    I was there last month and yeah its all rocky. Got lucky and found another opening for Fri Sept 11 and booked it. If it doesn't go through then kayaks aND SUPs will do. Thanks guys

    How was the fishing from the kayaks? Will be out there Fri sept.11-13 fishing the kayaks.
