Fishing Tackle & Boat Stuff Swap Meet
    Sat...October 8, Starts at 8 AM
    Put on by:
Long Beach Rod & Tackle Club...
    3333 Pacific Ave.
    Long Beach, CA 90807

    Sellers call 714-772-5519

I understand that some of the sellers at this swap meet are from Gary Nosek's Santa Ana Super Swap Meet, which was discontinued about 2 years ago. The Long Beach Meet was held a while back, and I have been told by some who attended that it was very good.

    Change to Sundays

I work on Saturdays, and i believe most men fish on Saturdays and spend time with family on Sundays. Well why not change things up and have a swap meet on Sunday, i would think that you would have a better turn out. Just my thoughts,:)

I have nothing to do with scheduling these swap meets. I only post their existence as a courtesy to others when i hear about one.

The swap meet in Long Beach drew over 40 sellers and several hundred buyers.

When swap meets have been held on Sundays they have drawn very poorly. Probably due to church and pro football.
