I'm very antsy to get out and do some poke poling at some Ventura jetties once I make a poke pole. I know people poke poke in central and nor cal. Does anyone or has anyone ever done this in SoCal? Successful? Do we get monkey face eels down here?

    Thanks,
    NF

no monkey face out here or i havent seen any. I would hit up any of the jetties at low tide and you can catch some rock fish

Cool! Sounds like fun!! I've seen videos of guys getting all kinds of stuff in the rocks up north! I wonder what we have here? Other then crabs and lobsters?
