Recommendation's for reel for Calstar GX-8

    I like to know what is the best I can get.:dunno: Fishing Marina Del Ray / Channel Islands area. 15-20 # line.

    How does that rod feel? I have never felt one but always wanted to.

    15-20, Calcutta 300TE!!!

    Im likeing the Avet reels which one would be good for this Calstar gx-8ft rod

    SX will work for that lb test line.

    I just had a GX8 wrapped and I just put a Daiwa Pluton on it. This combo is sweet as hell.

    As far as avets go the sx is the only model that may work IMO the other are too big!

    If you have a Fuji trigger seat you will need the Fuji foot from Avet for any Avet reel to fit.

    If it has a trigger, go with the 300TE or maybe a Daiwa 253 Luna.

    Newell 220 or Daiwa Sealine 20 can be a good option too.

    2013 July I'm slow [Raising Kids] just bought new SXJ 5.3 narrow single speed Silver with 50 pound spectra and Flora 20 # Seaguar @ Joy Fishing Tackle Santa Monica. 149.00 going rate nice light set up. Had a ABU Garcia the handle broke off second time still use it as back up with Old 8ft
    ugly Seeker Black Graphite with Gold Guides.
