Had a friend with a visitor from Utah whom had never fished in the ocean so I offered to take them out for a little fishing. We launched around 0730 and there was little traffic at the ramp only one other boat and one or two trailers in the parking lot. Weather was a little gray in the morning with a small bump on the water but light wind. Headed out to the 4 mile and managed to find some willing reds and a few browns and chuckleheads. Fishing was kind of a pick but the quality wasn't bad for my experience on the 4 mile. My friend Dave and his buddy Evan from Utah were stoked. Water was very clear and the temp was 64 should be an interesting year. Great day on the water.
