This blank is spec'd at 40-60 LBS. Has anyone ever used one of these blanks? If so what are your comments? Seems it would make a nice stick for heavy jigs and double as a trolling rod on 4 day trips. You could probably hold this rod off one of the corners and get in on the troll and then launch again on the first hookup. (I've seen this done before on the Ranger 85).

    Thanks in advance
    V.

Yeah I suspected this guy was not following the rules on the troll but the crew allowed it anyway. Thanks for replying.
