WOW WOW WOW - Talk about SPEEDY

Yes I have been without my fishing gear since I left California the beginning of August. Then again I have not even seen water since then either except for the daily shower.

The first rod pictured I had brought with me to California as I hated the guides on it but liked the action and thought it would make a good inshore casting rod. Mike cleaned it up, stripped the old guides and tags, re-wrapped and applied two coats of finish in a remarkably short period of time - less than a week.

The other rod will replace the red rod that was donated to the Brandon Thornton Tournament as it was shattered by some bozo Capt. Bryan had on his boat. I will be taking it along with both of CostEFishNT's rods up to them and see if I can trade for a trip on the world famous Mosquito Lagoon hunting big Reds and Speckled Trout.

Keep your eyes peeled to OLN as you may see CostEFishNT or Capt. Bryan with their rods.

The HUNT FOR REDS IN OCTOBER is coming soon and will be a HUGE WILD EVENT. Both these gents will be in the Tournament and looks like Twister and myself may be as well. Trina from Team Big Bobberz will be there as well - I believe entered int he Tournament and also having a booth there. I was hoping to have some GBS Custom Red Fish Rods for her that Scott and I had talked about but Scott and I ran out of Money. This Tournament is HUGE and VERY WELL KNOWN and this year it too will be helping out Brandon Thornton Families medical bills. Sure wish our rod at Sea Fresh hadn't burned up - oh well. I heard the guy who bid $600.00 retracted his offer so looks like Carni will be wining it at $500.00 for some melted stuff - heheehe - NAW JUST KIDDING - Scott and I are still working on what we will do about it.

Flipper, Carnivore and Skunkmaster - a HUGE THANKS for getting these off to me along with all my other rods and reels - Scott has the $$$ to cover the cost as I had A-pinion send him the check for the rod he bought, should be plenty to cover it....Edited by: Sinker

    Dude those are sweet!

Im afraid to buy one, cause if I buy one and I like them better than my calstars and loomis rods (im sure that I would) I would have to sell all my gear and spend like another million bucks on new rods\

    LOL

    Once again Sweet Rods!!!
