Went out of santa Barbara today looking to catch some of the bonito but no luck but really didn't try that hard so off to 1 mile reef and we caught 1 sheephead that was released and 4 yummy rock fish. Thought fishings good at 1 mile best be trying 4 mile which turned out to be a waste of fuel so we came back in and caught tons of horse size macks which I took and dropped one down on a dropper loop and before I knew it I was reeling in my very 1st wsb that was 2 inches short but still made it the very best day ever. Very hot out today with no breeze but water was very smooth. It was a very nice way to end summer and the wsb swam away very happy
