Wanted a couple of Rod Tips.
I have 2 freshwater 4-6 pound spinning rod/reels 2 piece rods that are like new but the top sections are missing. Wondering if I can take off the metal Ferrel and glue on some tips to make short Mackerel, Smelt /Ice Fishing rods.

Cant seen to find tips large enough in walmart.

any of you guys have any tips? from old broken rods really cheap?

Walmart most likely will not have anything that diameter as they usually don't carry heavy Tuna rods. Measure the diameter and then look it up on the web and order a rod end guide that will fit them if you don't happen to have a tackle store that deals in larger/heaver fishing rods.

These are just cheapo 4-6 pound test spinning rods/reels no name brand that you get at walmart. just figured it would give them new life.
