Tailhunter's June 17th LaPaz/LasArenas Report
DORADO SEASON FINALLY TAKES OFF WITH OTHER SPECIES STILL BENDING RODS !
Hot weather and diminished winds finally kick started our dorado bite with fish tearing in for anglers fishing out of Las Arenas as well as La Paz. This is the most consistent dorado bite we've had all season with school-sized fish from 5-15 pounds found under the sargasso paddies; around the buoys and high spots as well as 20-40 pound bulls mixed in. It's not wide open, but all indications are that this is finally starting to crank up. Marlin, pargo, amberjack and even some tuna popped up.

Just as long as they are wide open and 40 plus pounds each by the time we get there, everything will be just fine...

I agree, it will be better this year. The Get Bent boys from Massachusetts will be showing up. Representation from Boston to L.A.
By the way, we will be bringing the fish gods with us for all to share.
