Group Ride to Airport
Hey Guys,
Most of us will be coming out of 805 area, are we taking a shuttle out of here or is everyone driving and parking around LAX? Roadrunner has a shuttle bus, the more that get on it the cheaper the ride. I could get 2 private vans lets say for a dozen people and our gear $564.00 roundtrip includes drivers gratuity from Oxnard.........$47.00 each person!

Was looking into this myself. If you all get picked up at the same place it is cheaper even still. Wasn't sure what others were doing but I want to jump on this. Just not sure they can fit 10 8 foot rod tubes in one van LOL!!!

It'll be 2 vans and not everyone is bringing 8' tubes. ICEE and myself have a large tube for both our rods with wheels and we bring rods no bigger than 7'..........if anyone needs to borrow a rod tube I have have I believe 2 or 3 loaners. We can all go from my house I have plenty of parking!

Speaking of rod tubes I talked to Alaska air yesterday and they are now saying that rod tubes that big have to be checked in??? Not sure the guy knew what he was talking about but I need to find out.

I've had 8 cancellations from the 805 area on this trip looks like ICEE, and myself and Flipper might cruise to Airport with my vehicle and park in parking structure, unless I pool together the remaining guys Vega brothers, Kaiman, and?

Joe, The Dark kings are meeting at Cronies in Ventura to talk about the La Paz trip on Sept 2nd Sunday around 2ish. You guys are welcome to swing by and have a beer and talk about the trip. We will be planning departure time and tackle stuff.
