Well it was a tropical storm which now has turned into a hurricane. I have been watching this baby all week.
If it keeps it's path, it should hit the mainland and weaken towards the end of this week hopefully, but la paz looks like it's gonna get hit very soon.

That's why we stay at the Los Arcos Hotel better structured than other hotels!

Pre-trip hurricanes must be some kind of tradition.

This is bad news if you live in southern Baja. Heavy rains could really do a lot of damage. Lots of buildings in arroyos. Different zoning and land use and litigation than in the U.S. Good news for us is that bait fish and DORADO and other good stuff are attracted to anything that floats. Makes them easier for the pangas to find.

I am just hoping that we don't all die in a firey plane crash on the way there.
The hurricane will just make flying a kit that much easier.

Strom
The storm made landfall to the east of here(Cabo). The winds topped out about 80 KTS.We came through it pretty well. Power out for several hours and lots of sand and jink in the streets but overall not bad. Evrything is pretty much back to normal today(Friday).
I took the boat out yesterday and managed to catch 2 marlin...........
