One more La Paz thing for you guys
Hola guys!
We were going to throw another big taco feed on the beach at the Cortez Club for you guys like we did last year, but then we realized...WE CANT! This weekend happens to be MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
Guys...you'll be in the heart of it. Think New Years Eve and 4th of July and Memorial Day rolled into one! This is the biggest event next to Christmas here in Mexico. They know how to party. In fact, unlike the U.S. the locals actually get 1 1/2 days off work so they can get in enough party and enough time to recover!
They are sprucing up the city. Buildings are being decorated. Down by the City Hall, you will have to park a good 5 or 6 blocks away for the massive street fair...music, booths, food and general "City Gone Wild" celebrations. Down by the waterfront, expect fireworks and people shoulder to shoulder in the bars and clubs and walking the streets with lots of stuff happening. Even if you're not a party person, just the great cultural people-watching is great! The town will go 24 hours fer shure and in the morning, there will be bodies lying where they fell! Get Benters might as well join in! At midnight the whole country yells VIVA MEXICO just like in the U.S. everyone roars "Happy New Year!" when the big ball falls in Times Square. It's time delay TV across the country so a zillion Mexicans all yell "VIVA MEXICO" like banshees at midnight!
Just an added extra for you! Glad you will be here for it!

BTW...spread the word, will meet with everyone at 6 p.m. around the pool at Los Arcos on the 12th to go over everything with everyone!
Cheers and travel safe. Oh...today...Las Arenas...football tuna went nutty...only about 150 yards from the beach. Lots of fun. Blood everywhere!

I realize you're going there to get some EEEHHHEEMMM but I am getting that here so I don't need it there or else I might not be getting it here anymore and I am not sure what I will catch THERE and bring here and end up you know where!!!!
