By the time we've gotten bait the sun was up and straight to trolling to get that Bonita so we could troll it for scent....but I kept nailing Dorado's , they were biting the sardines we had in the tank, you Florida boys call them Pelchards.....but I wasn't complaining....so I told my Skipper "Hey let's rig up for Marlin" I was feeling lucky trolled for about thirty minutes more the I seen one charging our feathers, first he went to the left bait then the right bait back and forth two to three times not really taking a bait so my Skipper Marcos bumped up the throttle and then "Wham!" he bit and I picked up the rod and jerked back four times making sure the hook was set and it was on! Battled it for about 45 minutes and was my first Striped Marlin caught on the Baja side.

So I took off my T-shirt wrapped in over Marlins head and kept watering down my Marlin so it wouldn't dry out because the day was early...I heard on the radio later that BajaDave was on a Marlin bite also and Flipper came over the radio and said that Joey805 was on a 200 lber. but that was a joke to get me worried. It got really hot out there and there was this beach in the middle of nowhere and I told my skipper Marco hey let's call it quits and go over there for some beer......Playa Tecolote. BajaDave and the Dark Kings were there as well as Joey805 and Flipper! There were bands playing, girls sunning, people partying!

We got done with the beers and appetizers and headed to the other beach that was ten minutes away for some fish cleaning and weigh ins. I took Jackpot with my Marlin it was same length as Baja's but mine had more meat on it!

Day #4 started early again and made a run to get bait.........but there wasn't any bait guys to be found.........there was one boat throwing cast nets so we all were floating around and jawing but Warmaster Shawn was on his bow casting his light tackle with a Kastmaster and catching fish left and right "he made the best of a waiting game situation!" Finally we all got our baits and were able to head out and fish! I was targeting Dorado's on my last day and wanted to give the other boats a chance at there big Bill fish....Team Agro was on a wide open Dorado bite.........all boats were pretty much spread out Joey and Flippers boat was the only one I saw fishing same area as I.

I called in all the boats at 2 pm to head to the beach to weigh in and clean............my Dorado was the largest in that species all day at #28 lbs. Larcus came in with a nice Sailfish but he said Wodar's dwarfed his by three times....we waited for Wodar and Reallybigtoad's boat to come in but found out it went to help another boat that had broken down so we headed to the hotel.

Back at the Hotel de Los Arcos I had showered and cleaned up and an hour later got a call from Sirena that my boys had just reached the beach in front so I went down with the plaque and jackpot $$ and went out front. Helped them get there gear across the street and we had to get ready because Jonathan and Jill were having a BBQ at the Cortez Club for us!

Later on that night we took our leftover baits from the boat and our light tackle and headed to the Cortez Club dock for some fishing........Flipper, Joey805, Warmaster Shawn, Rookie #1 and #2, and myself were out there.........it was a wide open Pargo bite and Spotted Bay Bass bite........I was glad there was a good breeze because Shawn had some "KILLER FARTS" going on it also helped we were next to the bar so we had Cerveza's and Pina Colada's for refreshments. Afterwards we ate at the La Concha Hotel Restraunt and was conversing that we had a great time and are looking forward to coming back. Tor and Kellee came by to see how we were doing also!
