Thumbs up La Paz in 14 days!

Hey all. Fourteen days to go for me and my Canuk friend Keith to meet Moogie, Lee and his son, and friends in La Paz for the Boston Tea Party. Just thought I'd let you all know what I'm bringing down there. This might help you peeps that are going down for the first time this year. This will be my 15th fly down trip to Baja since 1978. BTW the gear I'm bringing is for 2 people as Keith doesn't own any saltwater gear. LMAO, he only fishes for big Salmon and Steelies in B.C. To start I pack my rods in a B.P.S. Rod Caddie to protect them in the rod case, this works great, no probs so far and for this trip, here is the following.....
Seeker Black Steel G-660H-6C
Seeker American Series A660H-6
Seeker American Series A665-6 1/2
An old Kunan Meatstick 5' and stiff
An A.R.C. Superseeker Custom SSCJBF65H
An A.R.C. GF600XL Custom
Calstar 700 XLH
G Loomis GWR782S Spinning rod to satisfy Moogie
They are then put in a Bazuka Pro tube.
With a TSA approved lock.
My Carry on is the reels which are....
A Trini 14 -20 lb.
Tor 16- 20 lb
Newell 235-5 20 lb.
Tor 20-30 lb.
Tor 30- 30 lb.
Saltist 50H- 40 lb.
Saltist 50- 40 lb.
Penn Formula 20kg. 50 lb.
Avet SX 5.3-1 20 lb
Stradic 4000FI 10 lb.
All the Toriums have the upgraded plates and drags
so does the Trini.
All the reels are 100% mono as I have never been spooled enough since 1978 to even think about putting on Spectra. Just bringing a bunch of Fluoro in 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60.
Remember I'm bringing reels for two.
I am bringing my laptop with me to post our daily reports from Mexico, directly from the Hotel Los Arcos
Here is the rod caddie

The rope is tied to the handle to ease removal from the tube

Heres the reels... only carry on... Can't get lost

and the TSA approved lock on the rod case

And the guy we want to see in Lapaz

I hope we have good luck, and I will post from Mexico!
Kel
