La Paz 2008!

Hi All-- It's coming down to the wire, 17 more days 'til La Paz. I've put together a "skinny" list of gear and tackle after months of debating, researching and asking you guys for advice. Here she is, lemme know what you think!

25' bait: 7' Custom ARC rod (seeker black steel blank)/ Avet MX 4:1
40/50' bait (trolling): 6.5' Seeker cassic/ Avet LX 4:1
Rapala/light iron/popper rod: 8' graphtech med heavy/ Avet MX 6:1
30' Spinning outfit: 7' Shimano butterfly rod (it was on sale)/ Penn Captiva 5000

Terminal tackle:

Ringed owners: 1 -5/0
Assorted egg sinkers: 1/8 - 1oz
4 surface irons
4 megabaits
2 butterfly jigs
10 rapala xraps casting bait(I want to fish these alot)
2 rapala trolling xraps
8 pili poppers
Assorted trolling feathers

opinions, suggestions, questions are all welcome.
FISH ON!

Hey Alan, how much was your airfare and who did you go through for it? We are still trying to find plane tickets to get down there for our trip.

I'm not sure what it was exactly, we bought everything as a package. But for two people, it was just over 1200 ea. for 6 days and 5 nights and 4 days fishing.

ODH, good luck man, let us know how you did.

Suntan lotion SPF 70+ and Flourocarbon line works great down there!
