WELL AAAARRRRRGGGG!!!!!

Man don't ya just love it when you blow 800 bucks on an outboard and it is a large steamy pile of DOG . Got my new motor the weekend before last and spent a week getting the boat ready for it with a new transom and all new hard ware. I change out the oils in the motor and drop in in the barrel and it runs but looks like a 2 stroke. Burns oil like a 2 stroke anyway. Ok it has to be because it was sitting for so long the motor looks like it has may be 5 hours on it.

It doesn't shoot any water so I get a new impeller and pull the bottom unit off with no hassles. Then I pull the pump housing off and 3 bolts brake. No biggie I get two out by hand but the 3rd is staying in no matter what. 4 hours tonight I spent drilling the old bolt out so I can easy out the sucker out and NOPE!!!! it is in there to stay. Fine I am going in to sleep and put the motor in the down position and OIL POURS OUT THE EXHAUST!!!! OH MAN. Pull the plug and it is soaked with oil. Man just have to love people that lie to ya. Runs great....first pull start....ya is little oil in it!!!! ARG!!!! I am blowing something up!!!!! Oh and a rebuild kit????ya 500 bucks. This just stinks. I can't sleep now I am too off the mother I hope he dies a slow death..... .. I need a Tylenol.

Did you pay with Paypal? If so, you would fall under their protection policy.
