I was looking at a few on boatrader, and for the price they seem pretty sweet. I'll need to go find one to step on, but a good used one ready to fish in the 22' or 23' range can be had for less than 14k.

A lot of the Searays have wood frame and deck under fiberglas. Check very carefully for dryrot or spongy floors. It can be repaired if the price is right, but take it from me it can be expensive and time consuming to fix.

I am not concerned with any sleeping quarters, actually, I am leaning more towards a center console of some sort. wanting to be able to hit everything from Anacapa, to Cruz, to paddy hoppin down south. Any suggestions?...
