I enjoyed this years show, I think it was better then the previous 2 years with fishing type boats. We had most of the players there aside from Davis. But they cater to the hardcore anglers with large check books. The Orca was by FAR my favorite boat. Its unbelievable how big that 27'feels. Full galley inside, decent sleep quarters and a huge deck. Those bait tanks ddefinitly belong on the swim step. Be a shame to clutter the deck up. And it came at a resonable price tag too.
Parker was there too...shame they discontinued the i/o desiels. I will never buy one now. Tho those yammies are killer. Things have progressed so far with them now. They offer a unlimited hour 6 yr warrenty from the factory. Thats alot of confidence. Honestly they get just as good numbers as a desiel now with mpg. I just dont like how they hang off the back and kill that area personally.
Took a great look at Seaswirl. Great layed out boats and great prices. I just didnt the bow layout. Small anchor lockers..get barely 150' of rode and your anchor.
Far as the prices...i could see the desperation in the salemans eyes. I spoke to a few and they said they only sold a few during the show. I really believe there was some deals to be made. I would have been like a vulture over them lol.
Downstairs SUCKED..no marine electronics whatso ever. COMPLETE waste..
I was also pretty suprised at the children activities they had. My daughter had a blast. They had face painting, clowns, art contests and a puppet show.
