aw c'mon, wait till your in a gale warning coming back from santa barbara island with combined seas 8-10ft

did you head back against the NE or did you wait till the NE backed off?
Worst mistake you'll ever make is trying to come home against NE wind with swell.

So on that video, you guys were doing 25 to 30 knots through that messy water? Looked like you guys were doing like 10 maybe...

I would think at 30 knots, you would be breaking teeth.

None the less, still cool video...

Ya after reading it again joey I think he meant the wind was that much. I was thinking his speed too but just wouldn't be safe in that rough of water.

Willy did you happen to figure out what gas mileage you got out there??? Just interested more then anything I am looking for and out board but still like to compare notes for information sake.

Joey,

The wind was blowing 25 i was doing 14 knots through the SLOT and then 20 the rest of the way.
Carn,
burned a 1/4 tank...need to look at my chartplotter to see miles run.
