new anchor

As always, new stuff to me may not be new to others... but, I just ran across this anchor that looks interesting. The white "bubbles" on the anchor are air-filled and they say that the anchor automatically rights itself on the bottom for a hook everytime... any thoughts about this?

Nah - I usually just stick with the standar bruce anchor. They are proven and work very well.

It's one of the most popular out there. If you look on all the sport boats, you'll see that this is what they use.

i agree with Joey, you really need to find what works for the areas that you fish...those crappy davenporth anchors are really popular...but i cant get them the stick at the islands with the diverse bottoms. Since i switched to a 22lb bruce...its instant hook set and peace of mind for a nights sleep. Use what works in the area and talk to locals, at the harbor look at what people have on thiers..cant go wrong with that.

that anchor looks like its 2-pieces?
and is the "plough"-part removable so you can make it upside down?

Ya, the anchor is 2 pieces so that you can break it down for storage, if needed.

Thanks for the comments, folks
