Your right Drew bad idea..I guess I'll leave it alone for now but a dry pump and thru hull is do-able I might just take it over to Pacific sales since my warrenty is in question no doubt..

The nice part about having the external pump is that it is cheaper to replace. the issue of course is the electrical connection, but I would rather put a water resistent cigarette plug inside by transom than a hole trough my hull. Plus it all comes off when I am not fishing, the boat looks clean and there is one less place to have a leak.

By the way how did the overnighter go?
