| i cant help you with Lowrance..but i use Garmin Mapsource on my home computer, Bluecharts on my main boat gps..Garmin 3006c and for my second i use bluecharts G2 with my 478..with garmin streets...its a pretty darn sweet integration..Garmin may make ok fishfinders..but tops when it comes to gps..All i can speak on is garmin products. They have excellent detail with contours, wrecks..etc..Far as fishing spots..when you find that program that has all the primo spots let me know..buy 2..
But to what i can do. I plot and plan all my trips ahead of time with it on my laptop then i shoot the routes and trip to my gps before i go..and download my tracks after the trip..update my waypoints, create my logs..and back everything up.
