Well it is now official

Thanks to Hulihan I have all the electronics I need for my boat. NOW I need the boat and I am out to slay fish !! Thanks Craig the GPS unit works great and looks fantastic. It will plug into my fish finder too so it was perfect all around. It was great talking to ya and I hope we can see some of your catches out there. For those that want to go fishing keep your fingers crossed a boat should be soon. Just in time for the high gas prices!!!

Drew - FYI - I have the Garmin Card Programmer. Let me know and I can send it out to you or program a card for ya. Looks like your gonna want TWO.

BTW - 2 color units, nice but if you run both off the same antenna and transducer through a box if one goes down then most likely both will. Both are good units - enjoy . . . .

One gps on fish finder. The GPS I picked up came with the new G2 3D navigation card for this area. Hi def pictures and nav + 3d SIDE VIEW that shows depths from not only the boats view but the fishes view too. Once it is hooked to the fish finder it will all so give a 3d view of the sonar cone at what ever hrtz you have the transducer set at. It is just awesome. Once it is up and running I will show pictures but just killer set up now I just need a platform to put it on ! I will hit ya up for the charts once I get a handheld unit though I want to pick up one for my throw bag. Thanks Tim that is generous of ya bud.

Thumbs up

In that case you better have a wash down hose with the boat!
