Nada.com / click on consumer / boat / you should figure it out from there. Gives you a valuation on boat and dry weight etc. |

Hight should be fine but does if have a flying bridge? If so they you have to stay under 15' on the trailer or you are over height limits.
Make, model year, outboard inboard and type etc all things that factor in for weight.

Max. trailer length is no problem, as long as the trailer and tow vehicle are 80 feet or less and total weight is 80,000 or less.
I think max. width of the boat and trailer cannot exceed 102".
You can get a permit to tow if any of these are over limit, but it isn't worth it. Just rent a space at a repair yard at any of the harbors. They can take it out of the water, put it on temp. supports, and provide power to do any repairs you want.

Jeremy | I would think that a boat trailer dealer might already have the specs for your friends boat? |

I'll probably have to drive down with him to take measurements. thanks for everything guys!! |

If he has a class "C" license he can't tow it if it is over 10k with the trailer included. It can't be over 65 feet total with the tow vehicle included and to tow anything over 6,000 pounds your tow vehicle has to be more the 4,000 pounds. It is 14' max hight but make sure your rout doesn't have smaller bridges like the guy on 101 found out.

The only way out is a boat towing company or a trucking company that handles overwieght moves. They can get all the permits and take the legal routes that allow over weight movement. The boat yard sounds like a good option
