Bie Bie Bayliner

Welp I found a new 2006 Trophy 2502 walkaround with dual 225 Mercs at the place where I bought my boat. They are going to sell my boat which is like new and sell me the Trophy for around 50k. I looked them up and for the stock single mercs the boat is 80k. it was hauled down from up north apparently the market is soft up there..I'm going in tommarow morning to drop the Bayliner off. Hopefully by next week I'll have a new boat. its been hard fishing off the cuddy since the range and the shape keeps me in shore..Last week I was out of Dana Point and a small storm blew in..I was tossed like a ragdoll..

Sounds like a great deal. The motors and rigging alone have got to be almost worth the 50K.

Day one

Went to drop off my boat yesterday and met indifference and confusion. The broker was there and pissed off that his internet salesman told me I could trade up. I left all pissed and later last night the salesman called me and said we would consign my boat and roll in the difference to the new boat..My wife is having a fit lol..I just have to have this..I may be sleeping in it..after it's all said and done..

I am sure you already know but just to remind you that these "salesmen" pull the bait an switch all the time. Make sure you are not getting screwed on this deal just to have it. Please don't take this as you aren't intelligent, just looking out for ya. I have done it before and it is easy to jump in with both feet and find the water was just a little deeper then you thought.
