where to start....
there is a number on your unit itself...find that and get back lol...fish finders are easy...usually spending a bit of time in the manual and thumbing through the options on the gps is a good way to learn...to have someone set it, and you forget it..is a bad idea. You need to constantly change and adjust for bottom detail, gain adjustments for types of fish and water conditions. Nothing overly complicated after you understand the terms and what they do to affect things. At the worse, set it at fish symbols...see the cool fishies on the screen..makes me feel better when im about to skunk out.
Now radar...something that takes a bit of time to get down correctly and there is no one setting thats perfect for any conditions.
Just do like chris does, put someone up on the bow, run at mach 10, and have them flail thier arms if they see something lol...
It works for him...and hes got far more hours on the water then i lol..
