Trolling motor battery

Just curious what kind of battery I should get for my trolling motor and the best place to get it.

Get a deep cycle battery for recharging an discharging. Get the highest amp reserve capacity that you can afford and that will help it last longer. Brand is really up to you I have had good luck believe it or not with Kirkland from Costco but interstate have word well for me too. Right now my back up house battery on the boat is a optima.

I have a yak yeah but Im debating on getting a little boat too. The troller is for the yak. but might convert it over if I get a little tin boat.

Mine has worked very well with a WalMart 115 amp hour Marine deep cycle.
