Take a peek - Furuno Radar Installation

Since everything is so slow right now I thought some of the peeps around here might want to see how the radar install turned out on Offgassin.
This project started out alot better than some of the other projects I've pulled off on my other boats.Did my homework.Asked alot of questions, and talked to a few Pros. Got things going in the right directions from the get go.
So after roundin up all the parts,it was time to get busy.
First I had to move the VHF antenna, and remount that cause the dome would be in the way.
Second I had to reroute the VHF,and GPS cables. That wasnt as easy. When I first installed them I wanted to have a clean look,so I routed the cables through my rocket launchers, and into the house. Now Parker has this plastic chase that fits up into the starboard back corner of the house that has all the wireing for the deck, and nav lights,so that was pretty sweet after I got into a bar fight w/ the VHF,and GPS cables getting them back through the holes in the darn rocket launchers!.Wheew.Time for a cold one.
Now it was time for a little tape measure action, and POWER TOOLS YEAH...
So I figure out where everythings going to land, and start drillin holes ,and through boltin the dome mount w/GPS antenna mount on the house. Not bad got it done pretty quick.
Now I didnt mind drilling through on the out side of the house, but now I've gotta do the hole for the cables that will feed from the top of the house, into the house.
Well it was pretty easy.Parker makes this little rasied section on the house that fits some more of the wireing for the nav lights.Sweet!
So I core the size holes I need, then dremel out the cores just enough to fit the cables in snug, take some Painters tape, and tape up the inside real tight after pulling the cables through.
Take the plugs I made and some 5200 and stuffed em back into the holes I cored out.
After the 5200 set up a bit,and got it cleaned up OK,it was just a matter of runnin the cables along the windows how I wanted it.Rewireing both GPS,and Radar, and I'll be darned if both didn't fire right up!!.
I was STOKED!!
Took it out the first time W/Nick&Smidge on Nicks boat in very foggy conditions, and I was Damn glad I had it.After I took off for a dive Nick told me to come find him,and useing the combo of the GPS,and Radar I did find him.
Any way heres a few pics.I know it's a loaded question but...tell me what you think.

Sweet job,and plenty of fishing room on it.Drew if you need a fish finder I'll be glad to ship the mother-in-law out there. That wart on here nose attracts fish when she wiggles it..

Nice job Michael. Real clean. Where are the gimbaled drink holders?
