Hi everybody.

My name is Todd and I'm a fish-a-holic.

I recently moved to Calabasas from Orange County and looking to meet some new fishing buddies that can show me the spots up here. I did a fair amount of pier fishing, mostly for sharks and rays while studying in college at the Seal Beach pier.

Once I graduated and started making some money, I was bit with thefishing bug and started chasing Albacore and YTon the overnight boats.

I enjoy any type of fishing and hope to learn a lot here and make some new friends.

thanks,

-todd

Cool a new fisherman in our neck of the woods. Calabasas is a great area and from there taking Las Vergenes to the ocean (PCH) and a left to Malibu pier. That is a great pier with halibut, leopard sharks and all sorts of fun little fish. Hope to here some great reports and get to fish with ya.

What's up everyone. I'm Vince. I just moved to Oxnard and have been fishing in the harbor and jetties. Any good spots or tips for bait or any kind of tip would be appreciated. I fish a lot by the Rud Room. If any of are out there and see me say hi!

thanks

reallybigtoad: I was thinking of hitting Malibu in the morning (Saturday) but will not know till tonight I may have to (work) I build computers and networks out of my house and I am trying to work a deal now with a new company. If the guy calls today I will work this weekend and get it done for him. If your interested I will post back tonight look for it on the West coast pier fishing forum.

vmfnb: The rudder room is a great place at night for rays and work those jetties with a light line and a frozen chovie with just enough weight to sink it slow and hit sand and kelp bass in the kelp lining the jetties too. The is all a great area. The west jetty (toward Ventura) and on the said away from the harbor side has produced some legal halibut too. Both CI and Ventura harbors can produce them along with Hueneme harbor at the end of the jetty next to the CeeBee's base.

Carnivore,

I'm not available in the AM on Saturday, I can do Saturday night, or Sunday. I typically like to fish incoming tides, so they look pretty good this weekend.
