Hello Guys

I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself. I have fished all over from Florida to Clipperton atoll in the Pacific. Sport boats to long range in San Diego aboard the Shogun for 3 years. I look forward to learning as well as sharing with you all.

Welcome.

Do you know the Gulf area pretty good?

I am on the East Coast of Florida but hope to do a number of trips in the Gulf this coming year from Florida and Louisiana.

Again -

Are you in San Diego now or do you live elsewhere? The reason I ask is because I am in San Diego. You Capt of the Shogun? Welcome to the site.

Hi guys,
I was learning how to post pics on here. I am in Venice, La now. I do know the Gulf very well I believe. I was on the shogun from 1999-2002. Great learning experience. I still am friends with those guys. I am a member of several forums, is this a west coast site?

No I am not the captain of the Shogun, Bruce Smith and Norm Kagawa are. I am running a private boat that only fishes 2 times a month. If you know someone looking for an experienced captain let me know. I will be happy to provide my resume as well as references.

I know Destin, Fla. to South Padre, Tx. very well. I have fished just about everywhere in between. Most time spent in Venice, La. and Port Aransas, Tx.

Myself and few others from the site here hope to be in the Venice, LA area this upcoming year a number of times. Will drop you a line and maybe you can show us the ropes or at least where the good restaurants are heheehe .

Yeah those of us East Coast and Gulf guys are out numbered by the West Coast guys but they aren't to bad considering they are on the wrong coast. Seriously a good group here enjoy.
