I am one of a few females that love to fish. My husband and I own a 21 ft. hard top Olympic which we take out to Monterey Bay and Morro Bay. We fish mostly for rockcod. We have jumped on the big party boat to catch albies out of Morro Bay. We do get over to Australia every year and fish the Great Barrier Reef.


Will keep everyone up to date with our catch up in our area. Seem like most of this board is from down south.

Yes would love to see the pics from Australia too. I have a buddy down there that has been dieing for me to stay with him for a month or two and would love to fish that area. Welcome aboard.

I think eveyone should visit Australia. I will retire there someday. We just built a house up in the Whitsunday Islands, Airlie Beach gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. The people are so nice and easy going. If you need some tips on where to go, just ask, you would love it there! Debbie

Welcome to the boards!I would love to see a report from Australia. Do you ever fish for marlin off of jettys like in the inside sportfishing videos or is that another part of Australia?

Gee Batman, never seen that before! We tried to go out Marlin fishing, the outerbanks Great barrier, but the guy that owns the Blue Marlin sportfishing boat said his engine broke so it was a no go. That was the second time as he did the same thing the year before, I will not book with him again........... My husband is the pro, we have not had enough time on our visits over there. We will be going again in Dec. and this time we are going to go out for a week on a big cat and sail the Whitsunday Islands..............
