Hi Kids. I discovered this site while on vacation in SoCal (Oceanside). Had to wait till I got home to make it work.
A very brief bio: I have had a casual interest in fishing since I was a kid, but only really discovered salt water when my kids were essentially grown. My greatest regret is not having been able to introduce my kids to this great activity before they got away...
My greatest fishing interest is the West Coast of Vancouver Island, where we pursue Salmon and Halibut. This is followed by Salmon and Trout in the Fraser River and its tributaries.
I use ABU and Penn reels, though I have a few early Millionaires and a 300 series Curado. Rods tend to be quite long by California standards; 10 feet plus.
I do not yet own or have access to a boat unless I go on a charter.
