Hello Get-Bent-ers! I'm the new guy around here. Looks like this is one kick ass site. Just from my initial looking over it looks like theres a bunch of knowledgable and friendly folk around here. I am looking forward to swapping tips, stories and the like. I stumbled in here by doing a web search.


Just a little BG. I live in Encino California. I have been Kayak fishing for a little over a year now. I mostly fish Coral Canyon or anywhere between deep hole and Nicholas Canyon. My username was coined about four years ago when I lived in Davis California and I fished the Sacramento River, The Feather River the American River for big King Salmon. We also went out a few times on a boat out of Berkeley Marina for Kings. Soooooo a friend of mine called me "the Salmonslamer" because I always out fished him, hehehe.I also am an avid surfer, snowboarder and all around beach nut. I free dive for lobster as well.

Welcome to the board Salmonslamer. Glad you found us. there are a lot of great folks here. I live in Burbank not to far from you we should get together and wet a line soon. a bunch of us head out to ventura/oxnard area to fish from time to time you should join us next time we go

Welcome a fellow salmon hunter. I used to hammer them in Oregon and Washington YEARS ago but as of late I am salmonless. I will change that next year. Good to see you found us just hang around and join in anytime the info is all ways helpful.
