[img]smileys/[/img] Hello All...I have truely enjoyedall the great postings, true gentlemenship throughout, not to mention, all the great sharingof experience, and the most common denominator..we all have the passion FOR FISHING!!


I'm originally from Albuquerque and havesince been fishing about two days after crawling...not really..maybe three..Combined fresh& salt waterclose to 35+ years fishing.Being in theArmedForces about 30 lbs ago, I was fortunate to fish from some of the various places I was stationed MA, TX, Hawaii, or washaving to visit by UncleSam's order Kwajalene atoll and other Pacific /Central places. Most of my fishing has been lake,stream and river, however in the last 10 years ofdone a fair share of shore fishing. I had a20' open bow but after getting skunkedat some of the local lakes(Casitas, Piru & Cachuma) a lot. I really at one time questioning myskill that worked everywhere else.I finally got a boat that can go on both lake and sea.A26' cabin cruiser.I really want the bigger fish NOW!! Slowly I'm getting geared upfor salt H2o fishing and really look forward to the summer bite.

My dad owns a 21' Starcraft rigged for saltwater fishing that we have had for abouta year and a half and been using it for about a year and weuse it during vacations, but when I am not fishing, I work on the Coroloma pinheading. So I got some knowledge on saltwater fishing. So I am sure I can help you, as well as many people on this board, help with any questions on fishing or getting your boat prepared for saltwater hardcore fishing! Again welcome to Get Bent!

Hey welcome aboard man....Nice to see you jumpin in and playin with us. Where abuts are you in cali? If you like fresh water and have nothing to do we are always tryin to get together at Castaic....sometimes we all make it and sometimes we just cant get it in line but when it happens...it happens and the fun never ends. There is the 30th slated for this month if your interested and are able to go just so you know. Any way...back to work for me ...again Welcome and Im lookin forward to wetting a line with you.

Thanks for the Welcome everybody..I live in Camarillo and as much as I'd LOVE to go to Castaic..the 30th is impossible for me..boss comes back from vacation and B-lines directly to my office..everytime. He knows I will get away any chance I get to fish! I talked my fishing partner into getting into Get Bent Sportfishing because of all the good company and experience.
