New to Santa Barbara
Just wanted to introduce myself I am new to the Santa Barbara Channel and finding the fishing challenging and fun. I moved from the Oregon coast so some stuff is old school to me but some stuff is brand new. Cool area becuase your right on the cusp of cold water and warm water. Havent been able to make it out any further that about 5 miles because the boat a little small and I don't know the ocean and weather patterns down hear yet. But having some fun catching rock fish, bonita, and Halibut. Looking forward to getting out to the islands, I think thats were all the booners are? Look forward to reading more posts and I will make some of my own, but they don't call me zipperlip for nothin. Good fishin to all!
