Are you sure you want to store diesel on your property? If you have thought this through and you really want storage tanks spend some time researching above ground tanks. I do not know for sure but I would think that the regulations concerning this are overwhelming if you plan to be legit. Especially in CA. Since I am biased on your original question my answer would be big rig tanks from a truck scrap yard.
