Penn Reel Wanted

I am looking for a Penn 505HS...It's the narrow high speed Jigmaster....Already have one, but would like to have a few more if I can find some......

you mean the 506HS thats the narrow one. Thresher had one for sale here a while back. Hit him up he might still have it.
I have one but you cant have it. HA!

I just looked to be sure and it is a 505HS...It is pretty narrow...2 1/2 inches from side plate to side plate...

Wonder what the difference is between 506 and 505...Anyone know???

i have a red penn 500 fitted with newell 5.1 gears , newell base ,red bars , red star drag and 3/4 spool spectra and a 25 lb izor top shot

You probably have the sideplate from a 505HS. The 505HS is the same size as a 500. The 506HS is the same size as a 501. Sounds like you have a 505HS sideplate on yours.

I just checked mine and I also have a 505HS plate on mine...lol

And I beleive they are 5to1 ratios...

501 is narrow 4.1
506 is narrow hs 5.1

500 is wide 4.1
505 is wide hs 5.1
