looking for bass rod

hey all im looking for a bass rod for my new daiwa coastal reel ... I am pretty open to a lot of rods .. I would prefer a custom wraped seeker or a shikari. I have 10# on my reel right now and am look for a 8-20 lbs test rod with backbone but NOT an over kill stiffy in fact sensitivity is a plus! oh and please no fancy rods with the crazy diamond wraps .. they look cool but not for me .. im in the LA area and will pay cash for a nice rod!! Thanks folks!
oh and any pictures you have would be GREATLY appreciated thanx again!
Sam

if the rod is in great condition and everything checks out ill pay good money! ... and yah im pretty sure a daiwa coastal would only work with a trigger style seat.. im pretty flexable as far as handle material ... as long as its not some ugly arse blue hypalon like those damn seekers ... why would you take a damn sexy rod and add ugly blue hypalon grips ... i know it grips better but i KNOW they make them in black!!! .. sorry just a little venting on my end toward seekers newer inshore rods! ... thanx all for looking and i know someone out there needs to release a bass rod thanx again!

I have a bucara 12- 20lb extremely light and strong. Will balance well with baitcasting or small conventionals. My 17-30lb has plenty of back bone(maybe too much) for 25 lb line. Hmm, just a thought, maybe i could use heavier lines with all that backbone. I have a seeker inshore 8'6" rod meant for 20 lb that i actually use for 15 lb line. I think it perfect for live bait fishing for calico. But u r right the blue handle is not attractive but i use it anyway.

Others have mentioned the teremar 10-20lb seems like it might fit your criteria. I would consider getting one myself for a bass rod.

Calstar GX8 or Rainshadow MB845. Good Calico sticks, the diameter on the Rainshadow is very small, similar to the old Shikari's. There are tons of good bass blanks and complete rods. St.Croix,Loomis, and Lamiglas also make them. If you can't find something out there let me know and we can hook you up. We do somewhat plain rods sometimes too. See Phishy's Calstars. Thats about as simple as we go.
