Last time I checked, Lead Advertising Rep is code for sales job.

It's important to have $200K potential in a sales job given the amount of bs people give you just to help them... HOWEVER... be realistic here, you would probably have to break every record in the books to truly EARN even $100K ($8,333.33/mo) in most sales jobs out there.

I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. I've hired a lot of sales people and I know what kind of money they CAN make... and the kind of money they ACTUALLY make... 'cause I write the "comp plan"... then I manage their performance.

Out of curiosity, what are the performance requirements to attain that type of paycheck?

Good luck and kick some butt!

I do hope you get your payday.

Oh, by the way...

$200,000 is an average monthly paycheck of $16,666.67.

If you did not start at that rate you will need to make up for it later in the year which will probably require your performance to put you in the $25-$30K range (whatever that requires in total sales/collections) during the last 4 months of the year.

Not necessarily...depending on what rate, there are added benefits such as sea pay, hazard pay, deployment pay. Not to mention the savings in everyday expenses such as food and living arrangements.
