YA Diesel is one of those things you have to look around. I have seen it at high as 4.29 at the ARCO on victory between Desoto and Varial in Canoga park and 3.30 at the truck stop off Anaheim st in Long beach. It is only going up but what pisses me off the most is diesel is a by product of making gasoline. I know it goes though a lye treatment after that but hell that stuff is cheap. This would all stop tomorrow if the truck drivers in the country just stopped hauling for a day. 2 at most and this country would completely shut down. Talk about a wake up call.

Down here fuel costs about the same as in your end. BUT, was in Europe a month ago where we paid EUR1.95 a liter of 95 unleaded. Therefore, 1.95 X 1.48 = $2.886 per liter $2.89 X 3.78 = $10.91 per Gallon.

Here where I live people earn about 1/3 of what you do in the US.

That was a months ago.......what are you complaining about.

Saw Diesel today in Simi Valley at $4.05 per gallon at a Chevron on Sterns and $3.99 at 76 on LA Ave.
Don't even want to know what it's gonna cost to fill the boat.....!

Corr, in Europe you have a true public transportation system second to none, driving is an option but here in the States we have to drive and those 7 Sisters got us by our ba**s.

Depends where in Europe. If it's the Rail System then yes it is good just Like Japans.
On another note, most of the Oil in the MidEast is bought by Europe not us.
