Havoc- read this before it's deleted, LOL....

My reply to Havoc thread before it was deleted. I haven't said anything on this subject yet. And besides, I'm starting to feel a little left out since everyone else has gotten a thread deleted or locked the last few days!!

Havoc, I agree 100%.

Guys, with all the ass chewing this kids getting, I'm surprised he still even posts. So what's his worst thing he's doing; took a lame job that he thought he would get rich at, and quickly found out it was b.s? He's 18, cut him some slack and let him do a little traveling for Christs sake. At 18 I did the same thing. As a matter of fact I got kicked out of high school at 17 and never graduated much less got a college degree.....and I'd say I'm doing pretty damn good.

Mike, stay out of trouble, have some fun, and let me know how it goes, I'm sure it'll be an adventure.

LOL you thought that would get deleted?? or are you waiting for the replies too? either way I couldn't agree with you more. He who hasn't made a bad job choice throw the first insult as I don't believe for a sec that no one ever has. I think of some of the stupid moves I have pulled in the job place and just shake my head in embarrassment. Keep plugging along Mike at your age is the time you want to make mistakes and learn so when you get older with a family you hopefully won't make them then.

Well I believe there is a big line between inexperienced and dumb. People who are dumb at 18 are dumb their whole life but people gain experience from birth. He is just inexperienced but he is learning.

thanks for all the support guys. and yeah im young, dumb and 18 right now. it sure is an adventure. im learning from it, and it sucks when i get people that bash on me and all because im not doing exactly what their standards may hold me too. it boosts my spirit when people support me, and crushes it when people try to restrain it by criticizing my choices. i joined this site because its like the friendliest fishing forum ive found, then my life went a lil crazy, and i turned to you guys. some of you have come through with help by supporting me, others havent. but youre all friends of mine just the same. i guess the only thing i regret right now about being in florida is that ive been here a couple weeks and still havent caught a fish.

Lessons learned, if it seems to be too good to be true it is. Nothing and I mean nothing other than Salvation in Christ is free. Most people who get rich and live to see 30 had to work very hard for it, and save and invest. Wealth is inherited or created but not given. If they are willing to pay you a lot without skill something is wrong.

Anyone who says he hasn't made a job mistake he is bummed out by is either 15, a star athlete, or a bold faced lier.

At 18 you can make mistakes, if there is social security when you retire you will need to be 80 years old so you have 62 years to get this sh*t right.
