life sucks but i still carry on.
ok. first off for those who end up reading this, im already having a hard enough time here, so if you have nothing nice or supportive to say, dont bother.
ended up goin to meps, and they said i needed to go see a psychologist to obtain a waivwer declaring a misdiagnosis of being bipolar. cheapest one o could find was gonna cost me close to 2 grand. i ended up losing my job at both wal mart and installing security systems. both were for being late, which was because i never had a car. ive been on and off the streets, and im currently homeless again. ive had to sell almost all of my fishing gear to provide food so i dont have to steal. got arrested in orlando for having a knife. did 50 days on that before they released me w/ time served. wtf! the blade wa under 4 inches. came down to the ft. lauderdale area and im still on the streets. i go in and out of covenant house on 733 breakers ave by las olas riverfront. (covenant house is a christian youth shelter.) iit seems like the harder i try the harder i fall. all im trying to do is get by in life and life keeps backhanding me in the face. i still wanna go army, but cant until i get money for the psych-evaluation. had to sell all my electronics too for a couple nights at a hotel for job hunting before i went to covenant house. got kicked outta the covenant house for smoking a cigarette inside my room after being dumped by my girlfriend, and i can go back till wednesday. so for anyone who really even cares enough about me to wonder where ive been on here, this is what has been going on in my life.
p.s.
pawn shops dont pay squat for gear.

Dang bro. I don't even know you but hang in there. I was semi homeless for a bit when I was young too, you'll make it. Do the Army deal, it's the quickest way to get on top of it. Good Luck.

Mike you just hang in there man. I've had hard times myself and only I was able to get myself out. Don't know what up with Florida health care but do your homework and find some free clinics get your self situated and JOIN. Pay no attention to negativity just take care of YOURSELF thats what's most important.

Do you have a mailing address I can send little $$ to help out? Hang in there! "No matter how bad it gets.............SUICIDE IS NOT AN OPTION!"

Keep your head up bud! By nature we tend to break all the rules. But also, by nature we tend to learn by experience. Sounds like you have have done a few things in the "not so best way," but I'm sure you can take all these and learn from them as soon as the nasty cloud begins to clear.
Personally I don't think anyone's got a hex over you for trying. I think it'll make you that much stronger and braver. What doesn't break you, MAKES YOU! I'm sure you won't be one to take things for granted after all this ordeal. The good thing is you've got no family to support & look after. You're in it solo and you'll do fine solo.
Good luck with your endeavors and I hope you make it to the ARMY, as it sounds like the quickest and easiest way to get back on your feet.
(By the way, you may want to ask around and see if there may be any organizations who can help get you a waiver or perhaps find someone who will give you the clearance probono)
My prayers are with you! You WILL make it, as you got a heck of a lot of us rooting for ya'!

Mike,
I have been wondering for many months what happened to you. It seems that your life has turned upside down since you moved to Florida. In your posts before you moved you proved to be an interesting and intelligent person and I looked forward to reading your posts. I believe that you can bounce back if you can find a job and stick to it. The military is a good option for someone in your position, but there seem to be obstacles in your way. Try to find anything to do to stay out of trouble. A good job might be to work with a very small company rather than a large corporation. You will get more consideration from somebody small and they may take you in and give you a place to live as well. We have faith in you and want you to do better. As Pineapple said above, please don't consider suicide. That is not an option for you. You can make it, you just need the right break, and you only need one to turn around. Give me an address and I will help you also.
Jeff
