i picked mine up from a place called SDPlastics, its located in San Deigo County, the shipped it to me in about a day..if i remember..shipping was darn cheap, it was cheaper to ship it then to waste gas and time to get it on a will call. For local tho...try some of the local plastics dealers, might get lucky and find something.
Far as what i bought, This starboard material was money. It was 1' stock and it will never rot, fade, crack or discolor. EXTREMELY strong, you couldnt break it if you wanted to. Look in the archives of boat talk on the site and you will see my post with all the details and prices for the swimstep.

Yeah it is great stuff... I used it alot in my project boats, such as replacing upholstered panels, rebuilding consoles etc. when I was flipping boats in Florida. What I need is not for a boat.. I'm making a new litterbox for the wife's 3 cats. So I need a sheet of 3/4" that is 4'x6'. The last one I made from MDF is finally on it's last leg.

Thanks for the lead...
